Celebrating over 100 Years of Service

The Bay Area is a treasure trove of things to see and do!

Outings take place on weekdays and can last from an hour to an entire day; the average is about three hours. Most trips include a lunch stop to provide more time for socializing.

Participants usually carpool, keeping costs down. The drivers appreciate a donation toward gas and tolls, but this is not mandatory. Participants are asked not to wear scented products. Admission to tours and museums can range from free to $35. Participants each pay their own way.

Field trips are announced in the Club newsletter and posted on our calendar. When space is limited, the first members to sign up get to attend. Field trips are a benefit of membership so why not JOIN today?

After leading more than 100 different field trips since 2011, CMWIC volunteer Linda Varonin is ready to pass on the baton in 2021. If you want to share a place or activity and get to know other members, leading a trip or trips might be for you. Contact Linda at fieldtrips@cortemaderawomensclub.org.
