The Bay Area is a treasure trove of things to see and do! CMWIC volunteer Linda Varonin has organized and led more than 70 different field trips since 2011, one per month September through June. She keeps a list of potential destinations and is open to suggestions.
Outings take place on weekdays and can last from an hour to an entire day; the average is about three hours. Most trips include a lunch stop to provide more time for socializing.
Participants usually carpool, keeping costs down. The drivers appreciate a donation toward gas and tolls, but this is not mandatory. Admission to tours and museums can range from free to $35. Participants each pay their own way.
Field trips are announced in the Club newsletter and posted on our calendar. When space is limited, the first members to sign up get to attend. Field trips are a benefit of membership so why not JOIN today?
Please do not wear scented products as several participants are allergic.
